Mayfield has had a vibrant and memorable year, from a roaring\u2011\u201920s\u2011themed Homecoming\u2014where students packed the gym for \u201cA Night at Gatsby\u2019s\u201d and celebrated the crowning of Chimamaka Palmer and Kevin Guzik\u2014to a historic playoff run by the Wildcat football team. Students and staff also embraced the opening of the new Innovation Center, a state\u2011of\u2011the\u2011art STEM hub where classes like CADD, Medical Technology, and Honors Biology now thrive. The school community gathered to honor four distinguished alumni\u2014Jodi Kest, Edward Ferris, Chris Farinacci, and Mark Klang\u2014whose stories of achievement and service inspired current students.
