Thank You for a Great Start in Documenting the Entire History of Mayfield High School!
Alums,
Our first graduation class, consisting of three students, was in 1899. In 2026, there were 295 graduates. You could look it up!!! Where??? Here on our Alumni Web Site to view all the historical data that has been accumulated thus far. It’s amazing what we can do collectively to recapture our rich history. There is still much more to do.
Help Us Preserve the Story of Mayfield
As you explore the History of MHS, Class by Class, you’ll see the information we’ve gathered so far for your class and many others. It’s a great start—but it’s far from complete. Every class needs multiple voices to fill in the details, and your perspective matters. Please don’t assume someone else will take care of it. Your contribution helps ensure your class history is accurate, rich, and truly representative.
Share What You Know
You’ll find our Historical Records Research Form right here on this page. It’s designed to help you share the facts, memories, and details you know to be true about our school’s history. The form is a work in progress, but it gives us a solid foundation to build on—and your input makes it stronger.
You can complete the form online, or if you prefer, you can simply email your information (with or without the form) to mayfieldalum@sbcglobal.net.

Our history is too valuable to lose. The only way to preserve it is together. Many alumni have already gone above and beyond to help us piece together the story of Mayfield, and we’re deeply grateful. Your contribution—big or small—helps ensure that future generations can look back and see a complete, vibrant record of who we were.
