This scholarship is awarded to a student in the amount of $1,000 who has excelled at and will pursue a career in the field of science. The successful candidate will have applied to or been admitted to a university to major in physics or a related discipline, e.g., applied physics, theoretical physics, geophysics, as a next step to establishing a professional career in academia, industry, or government service.
